What is CPU Saver, and when should it be used?

CPU Saver turns off the live incoming video of everyone else in the room, so the computer has far less work to do. It is most often a guest who needs it, not the host.

Anyone can switch it on for themselves in the ⚙ settings menu. It is worth doing on an older or slower machine, or whenever the call feels laggy or choppy.

It changes only what that person sees live. Everyone else still sees them normally. On a struggling machine it frees up power for a smoother, higher quality recording.
