Recording a solo episode

Recording solo is the simplest way to use SureTake. Open your show's studio and hit record. Everything captures locally at full quality and uploads safely in the background as you go.

When you hit Start Session, give it a real name instead of leaving the default date-and-time name. Your podcast title or episode number works well, and it'll be much easier to find later.

On the pre-join screen, double-check your camera and microphone selections rather than assuming the browser picked the right ones by default.

During recording, you can drop timestamp markers and notes to make editing and clip creation easier later. If you don't want to see yourself while recording, turn on Hide my video: it hides your own view without affecting what's captured. And if you're working with a studio, they'll be notified automatically when your recording is ready, usually within 15 to 20 minutes.

When you're done, hit Stop and wait for the upload to finish before closing the tab. Uploading happens throughout the recording, so there's usually only a little left to finish at the end, though a slower connection may take longer.
